Education trade unions denounced the repeated attacks on workers in the educational sector since the beginning of the current academic year, and called for following the aggressors and protecting teachers.
Education trade unions protested in many regions to denounce the attacks on teachers, such as Jendouba, where the principal of an elementary school was attacked in the school yard. The scene was repeated in Sidi Bouzid in an incident of assault on a professor, as well as in Sousse and Sfax.
The protestors demanded the need to pursue the aggressors legally and to protect teachers, students, and the educational institutions, and held the regional education commissions responsible for taking the necessary measures to prevent these incidents.
