Tunisair is preparing to lay off about a thousand employees, for its restructuring. The CEO of the airline said in this context that it has begun to reduce the number of employees abroad.
The official added that this decision was taken after a consultation with the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT), as part of the company’s new activity program and digitalization which will automatically reduce the understaffing. He added that some of the company’s offices abroad have already started to close while others have been merged.
