Workers in Tunisie Telecom launched a strike on September 27 and 28, which had been called by the Federation University of Tunisie Telecom affiliated in the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT).
Tunisie Telecom expressed its regret with the strike, after the positive signs the last negotiations with the social partner to reach an agreement that satisfies all parties.
The corporation called on the social partner to take into consideration the changes in the telecommunications sector, and the required reforms, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the corporation and maintain its position as a public operator.
