The labour law in northern and eastern Syria does not include daily-wage workers despite outnumbering workers in the public sector which makes them vulnerable to different kinds of exploitation.
Media reports revealed that daily-wage workers in Qamishli are constantly exploited and cannot find job opportunities in the current economic crisis.
