About sixty workers of the Agricultural Recovery and Development Company in Nasr Allah, marched from Kairouan to the capital Tunis to reach the presidential palace.
The protesters demand being integrated in the social coverage and receiving their salaries blocked for 4 months by the authorities. They denounced the mismanagement of the agricultural investor who proceeds to a massive sale of the herd and who neglects the maintenance of the olive forest.
The workers recalled that this farm, which covers 2,300 hectares, has about 15,000 olive trees and includes a cereal area covering 1,000 hectares, in addition to a herd of about 1,000 sheep.
