The security authorities in Kirkuk announced that a bomb explosion in northern Iraq led to the killing of one person and wounding 10 others on August 30th.
The bomb, they said, exploded near a bridge under construction in Daquq, south of Kirkuk. The bomb initially targeted a police patrol and a vehicle carrying municipal workers.
