The national vaccination campaign against COVID-19 started on August 4th. The first phase included workers aged 40 years and over. The second included people aged between 18- and 39-year olds, starting this week.
During a meeting held on August 12th, the Minister of Social Affairs stressed the need to schedule programs to vaccinate workers in major industrial areas and in all economic sectors and to prioritize groups with special needs in specialized education centres.
He, also, stressed the need to set a calendar to vaccinate workers and employees over the coming weeks and by the start of the new school year.
