The trade union office of guard workers in health institutions in the department of health in Driouch started a sit-in to demand the payment of workers’ wages that have been suspended for months, and fixing their status in the National Social Security Fund.
The Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDT) in Driouch announced that the negotiations in the health department, the administration of the company in charge of guards, and the labour department did not solve the problem. CDT warned of escalating the protests if the workers’ demands will not be met.
The department of the Ministry of Health in Driouch stated that the administration of the guard company promised to solve the problem soon.
