The amendment introduced at the beginning of this month prohibiting the wage gap between men and women in the public sector has been welcomed by observers from various sectors.
The National Institution for Human Rights praised this law that promotes equality and the prohibition of discrimination at work. The institution stated that the law would preserve the rights of working women and provide equal opportunities for them.
