The Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) launched the “Qurrah” program to support Saudi women working in the private sector. The program aims at partly contributing in the child care of working women.
The program aims at providing a safe environment for these children and helping working mothers in the private sector to work while preserving their family life, especially since many women need their work for the basic needs of their families.
The programme will provide a maximum of 800 riyals per month for children under the age of 6 years and for one child for a period of 4 years. The worker must be registered with the social security.
