The Qatari Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour, and Social Affairs announced the that the conditions for the recruitment of workers from abroad for third parties started to take place.
The Ministry’s decision requires the recruitment offices of foreign workers, in particular, to abide by the amendments made by the countries from which the workers come according to labour legislation.
The decision also obliges the labour recruitment offices to provide the worker, before they come to Qatar, with data, conditions of work, and work contract, all signed by the employer.
Recruitment offices must provide the worker with accommodation and food before working with their initial employer. These offices will also provide the workers with food and accommodation once their work contract ends with the employer.
The Ministry will be studying these applications.
