Workers of the General Electric Company have organised protests in Jebel Akhdar, Al Qubbah and Ajdabiya to call for the improvement of their financial and professional situation.
In this context, the workers published a statement demanding a salary increase, the payment of the risk grant, the housing grant, the complementary insurance as well as the payment of the salaries of retired and deceased workers.
They also called for the application of the insurance law and the unblocking of procedures related to work accidents in private insurance.
