The Friedrich-Ebert Foundation office in Amman, in partnership with the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions (GFJTU), organized a workshop to launch the project “Climate Change and Sustainable Development: The Role of Trade Unions” on June 16-17, 2021. The event was attended by representatives from the electricity, food and petrochemical unions.
This project aims at raising awareness of trade unionists to participate in public policy making on sustainable development, climate change, and a just transition to a green economy.
