The Local Administration Committee of the House of Representatives, during its meeting on July 7, in the presence of the Governor of Kafr El Sheikh, discussed the delay in disbursing the salaries of workers for a period of three months, especially school workers in Kafr El Sheikh governorate.
The governor of Kafr El Sheikh noted that the Ministry of Finance is responsible for fixing the problem. He called for including these workers under the wage clause.
The governor explained that the governorate subsidizes the monthly wages of workers from the governorate’s funds with 6 million pounds and that the delay in disbursing wages is caused by the slow process of administrative procedures in the relevant ministries.
