The National Trade Union of Primary School Principals appreciated the Ministry of Education’s response to the sector’s demands. The trade union, therefore, announced suspending the administrative boycott of the end of the school year work, after being guaranteed that their problems would be addressed.
In this context, the Ministry of National Education pledged to urgently disburse a grant to education employees after obtaining initial approval from the country’s higher authorities, until the laws of the sector will be revised in due time.
The trade union stated that the Ministry of Education obtained approval to integrate 30,000 educational supervisors into primary schools and an exemption from teaching for all the concerned employees in different governorates, starting from the next academic year 2022. The ministry also took special measures to open additional positions for vice directors and provided special procedures for exam make-up sessions.
