The Palestine General Federation of Trade Unions (PGFTU) issued a warning to Israeli employers and Israeli political officials concerning the lives of Palestinian workers in the Israeli labour market. He called on the Israeli authorities to ensure the necessary protection from threats and acts of hate from Israeli fascist organizations and formations.
The Secretary-General of PGFTU appealed to the International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), and all the concerned parties to be held responsible, prevent attacks on workers, and to stand against the repeated massacres committed by the Israelis against Palestinian workers during the past years.
Recent videos circulating on social media showed a group of Israeli soldiers pursuing Palestinian workers near Al-Taiba military checkpoint in Tulkarm governorate.
