Following a decision of the National General Assembly of the union of the institution's agents, the employees of the National Agency for Support and Development of Entrepreneurship (ANADE) announced a strike on 25 April 2021.
This strike comes along with the regular protests that ANADE employees have been organising since last March to denounce the freezing of negotiations on the agency's collective agreement.
In this regard, a trade union official stated that the union has not had any meeting with the institution’s officials since November 2020 and that the administration continues to ignore all the correspondence sent by the union on this subject.
It is worth noting that the ANADE workers are calling for the revision of the collective agreement, which has been blocked since 2013. They demand, among other things, the right to promotion and appointment to high positions through external recruitment and the inclusion of the national representative organisation of workers in the steering committee of the agency.
