Workers of the Libyan Ground Services Company suspended their strike, in which the workers protested against not being paid for 29 months.
A statement issued by the main unions of the company’s workers stated that the suspension of the strike was decided after reaching an agreement with the Ministry of Transportation to disburse six months’ salaries for 2,150 workers and to disburse the rest of the months after the approval of the state budget.
The unions confirmed that workers would resume the strike if these promises will not be implemented.
