Engineers of public establishments and enterprises went on a strike on April 5th to protest against not being allowed a salary increase decided by the government for engineers of the public sector.
The Engineers Association denounced the government’s policy that deprived them from the salary increase unlike those in the public sector.
The association called for a protest movement over a period of four days ending with a protest in the Kasbah Government Square on Thursday, April 8th, with the participation of engineers from all governorates.
