The executive committee of the Lebanese University Workers’ Association decided to start a sit-in on Monday, April 12th, in front of universities and in offices. This decision came out after the dean’s verbal decision.
The University Workers’ Association mentioned that their decision came after the dean’s indifference to the workers’ living conditions and refusal to discuss the workers’ demands.
The committee urged the dean to review his position and to have a written decision in order to deal with the issue according to legal measures.
