Sanitation workers decided to start a sit-in on April 12th in front of the headquarters of the local community in Casablanca.
This decision came after a meeting held by the regional office of local groups in Casablanca at the headquarters of the Moroccan Workers’ Union (UMT) about the living conditions of sanitation workers.
Sanitation workers started the sit-in to protest against the Casablanca group’s and the responsible authorities’ continued indifference to their demands including being registered in the register of delegated management and receiving their financial rights.
