On March 29th, taxation officials carried out a strike in various Algerian cities to protest against the failure of the concerned authority to implement the demands previously agreed on.
The Independent Union of Taxation Employees called for the strike due to the failure of the Ministry and the General Administration of Taxes to implement the agreement of December 16, 2020.
The Independent Union of Taxation Users stated that the rate of participation in this strike reached about 80% in many Algerian cities.
