Remittances sent by foreign workers in the UAE to their countries in 2020 decreased by 3.9% due to the pandemic crisis and the drop in oil prices.
Official data issued by the UAE Central Bank indicated that the total remittances amounted to $ 43.2 billion in 2020, compared to $ 45 billion in 2019.
