The National Drinking Water Federation of the Moroccan Workers’ Union decided to suspend “the week of rage” that was decided to take place from the 22nd to 26th March 2021 and the national strike on March 24th.
The federation took this decision after a meeting held on March 19th between the Directorate of Human Resources and the federation.
The meeting took place after receiving a letter from the Human Resources Pole informing it of its readiness to resume negotiation on the different social dialogue committees.
The meeting resulted in agreements on several issues, including setting a timetable for the negotiation committees’ meetings, the restructuring of the Contracting, Prevention, and Safety Committees, and working on the programs of the committees of the professional categories of the Wages and Administrative Affairs Committee.
