The employees of the Directorate of Commerce in Médéa, who are involved in the General Union of Algerian Workers, began a strike on March 15th. The three days strike denounces the ministry’s failure to respond to the demands of the sector’s workers, despite many dialogue sessions and promises.
The trade union itself threatened to launch a second strike, for a period of three days, from 22nd to 24th March, in order to compensate the workers of this sector and improve their conditions.
