The National Federation of Employees’ and Workers’ Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL) in Lebanon called on its members and all citizens to participate in the popular demonstration that will take place in front of the Banque du Liban.
The union harshly criticized the government, the ministries that are related to the living conditions of workers and citizens, the governor of the Banque du Liban, and those who control the black market as well as anyone contributing to the impoverishment of citizens through increasing the prices in real estates and of food.
The Federation concluded its meeting of the executive bureau with various decisions to be taken in the coming period including celebrations of the International Labour Day May 1st living costs bonuses of no less than two million pounds for workers both in the public and private sectors, the creation of a ration card for citizens, and opening the case on private clinics.
