Saudi Arabia: Human Trafficking Punishable by 15 years in Prison

work of the future vision of Saudi Arabia known as Vision 2030 and its requirements for developing legislations in the field of human rights and combating human trafficking in accordance with the goals set by the United Nations, authorities have organized awareness and guidance campaigns on human rights and the anti-human trafficking law of 15 years of prison.

 

In order to achieve its goals, a permanent national committee was established to combat human trafficking crimes, consisting of the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs, Justice, Social Affairs, Labour, Culture, and Information, and the Human Rights Commission.
