The Labour Union of the National Social Security Fund in Lebanon warned that it will launch an open strike in case the Ministry of Health does not allow quick access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Syndicate insisted on the users’ need to receive the vaccination because they work in the front ranks in the fight against the pandemic, making them exposed to great dangers. Two workers died due to the pandemic and 300 hundred others have been infected.
The Union’s demand aligns with that of the Social Security Administration sent to the Ministry of Health.
