The Egyptian Newspaper Al-Omal (Workers) of the Egyptians’ Workers’ Union stopped its publications for more a year and a half threatening, hence, its 60 workers with unemployment and the loss of their rights.
The newspaper was forced to stop publishing because of the financial crisis after the January 2011 revolution in Egypt. The freedom to dispose of the sectoral unions branching from the Egyptian Workers Federation caused the loss of a significant part of its financial resources.
