Trade unions in Morocco have called on the government to issue the regulatory law for trade union workers and employers.
These unions called for the completion of the legal system that controls the activity of workers’ and employers’ unions, in accordance with the requirements of the Moroccan constitution promulgated in 2011.
These unions noted that there is still a bill under study with a final drafting that has not yet been delivered to the parliamentary committees.
This bill is important because it deals with organizational, financial, and management aspects and fixing the rates of trade union representation in the public and private sectors and the unions that represent workers and employers.
