The Palestinian Federation of Trade Unions calls the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) to intervene quickly in order to put an end to Israeli crimes and violations against Palestinian workers working in Israeli projects in the occupied territories.
The Palestinian Federation of Trade Unions stated that these crimes ended the lives of six Palestinian workers who were shot dead at the borders in less than two months since the beginning of 2021.
The same source added that these violations, also, included denying Palestinian workers means of protection, occupational safety and health measures, as well as health insurance despite paying the fees for it.
The source, also, revealed that the Israeli authorities often threw Palestinian workers infected with COVID-19 at checkpoints, leaving them without the slightest health care.
