After ten months of the spread of Covid-19, curfews and other measures imposed by other countries forced many workers to work remotely. These procedures have become a necessity. However, the new regulations and procedures in monitoring performance, working hours, and extra hours of work are ambiguous.
Many loopholes need to be revised. For example, a worker’s infection or a professional mistake when working remotely can cause many problems, including showing evidence when submitting a complaint, how to compensate for extra work hours, and many other problems that need legal revisions.
The file is still in the Moroccan Administrative Court. It aims at setting the conditions and procedures related to establishing a remote work system, relying on modern information technology.
