Bakery owners in Tripoli carried out a sit-in in front of the Syndicate headquarters in the North Governorate demanding the Minister of Economy to support baking materials such as flour and sugar as he promised. So far, they got no answers.
They, also, went to the merchants who said that the governor of the Banque du Liban does not spend the sum needed to obtain the necessary materials for work to continue in the bakeries.
The workers added that they may go even further in organizing a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Economy until their demands are answered.
