Head of the General Federation of Jordanian Trade Unions affirmed his support for the program announced by the Ministry of Labour to ensure the continuity of opening economic sectors and activities while similarly protecting workers from occupational risks.
He pointed out that the General Union made sure to maintain the role of the health and safety committees in the enterprises where workers are located to reduce the transmission of the virus between them and avoid closing the enterprises again. It is worth noting that closing the enterprises equally impacts the workers and employees.
