In the context of the continued attacks on Palestinian workers in the occupied territories inside the Apartheid Wall, the Israeli police forces assaulted and attacked a group of Palestinian workers in occupied Jerusalem resulting in severe injuries. Workers have been assaulted during their work in a construction site under the pretext that they have been planning an attack. In an attempt to hide their injuries, the police refused to bring them before the court so that the judge would not see the injuries.
In the light of the difficult economic situation, many Palestinians in the West Bank are forced to work in the occupied territory. Due to the difficulty in obtaining work permits by the Israelis, Palestinian workers find themselves obliged to enter the territories without authorizations. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the number of unauthorized workers has reached 120,000.
