Shaher Sae’d Calls ILO to Open an Office in Palestine

The general secretary of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions Shaher Sae’d, in a statement, called for the opening of an International Labour Organization (ILO) office in Palestine, similarly to other countries, to defend workers’ rights.

He said that opening an office for the organization is important to supervise more than two hundred and ten thousand Palestinian workers working inside the Green Line.

Sae’d added that a file, which includes the violations Palestinian workers face, will be submitted to international courts. These violations are documented and will be sent to ILO.
