Workers of the National Postal Union of the Democratic Confederation of Labour (CDP) started an open strike five days ago to get a response for their demands.
The general secretary of the Syndicate of National Poste stated that workers are asking for extra work hours payment and the end of the year bonus that was reduced to 50%.
The general secretary, also, explained that there is a shortage in human resources, which can be an obstacle to the citizens’ interests and work performance.
He added that workers have been denied the increase approved by the government with the trade union centres. Both promotion and retirement regulations have, also, been delayed.
It is worth noting that the union organized many strikes in December of last year.
