Due to the ministry’s failure to meet their demands as agreed on in the meeting of May 2018, school supervisors and general supervisors continued their open strike.
The meeting’s record included various demands, including exceptional promotion and an increase in the returning school supplies bonus.
The record, also, included granting the supervisors’ children university scholarships, the bonus of extra-hours work, and fixing the status and workers with contracts.
The general secretary of the union confirmed that not meeting their demands will lead to disrupting work in schools. He added that the students will be forced not attend in the absence of the supervisors, stressing that the Ministry of Education’s claim to resume studies is false.
