In an attempt to spread the knowledge and information he gained through the human rights work in the field of protecting immigrant workers in the country, a Yemeni worker launched a campaign to educate Yemeni workers residing in Kuwait.
This Yemeni worker explains laws through cartoons. The cartoons, in his country’s language, explain the articles of law no. 6 of 2010 regarding the private sector. He, also, made other drawings to explain the remaining articles of the law and to define the procedures to be followed in case a problem happens between the immigrant worker and the employer.
The Yemeni worker was inspired by his work in the human rights field. He noticed that because of their complexities, the laws are often inaccessible and not well understood. His cartoons will help foreign workers from different countries to have a good grasp of the laws who are often subject to many violations because of their ignorance of the laws. This work is done under the auspices of the Digital Organization for Humanitarian Media (EOHM).
