In the light of the wars and crises Yemeni people are undergoing leading to the destruction of the infrastructure, high rates of unemployment, and increasing poverty, new community projects have been launched to help for the professional inclusion of the youth.
One of these projects, supported by the United Nations Fund, is the apprenticeship project. This program focuses on teaching young people some of the trades and professions that are needed in the labour market.
The program will train 24 apprentice and professional. They will be training 120 person who have been exposed to the worst types of employment, and whose economic and living conditions prevented them from joining the labour market. The training includes innovative approaches.
