In light of Covid-19 and its impacts on workers who lost their jobs or those who were not paid, sources revealed that there are many violations against female teachers in private schools.
According to the complaints by the teachers regarding the mechanisms the deduction of salaries, 20 teachers have accepted to withdraw their wages for the month of December despite it being covered by social security and the contribution of the “Istidama program” to the sectors impacted the most by the pandemic.
However, private education is considered to be the least impacted sector thanks to online teaching that makes it cost less.
In relation to the management of salaries, the “Istidama program” contributes with half the 75% and the schools pay the rest.
