The general secretary of the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions Shaher Sae’d denounced the brutal attack on a number of workers by the Israeli occupation soldiers on Monday next to Apartheid Wall near the village of Far’un of the Tulkarm governate. Six workers were severely injured.
The general secretary declared that this attack will be added to the list of the daily barbaric acts committed by the army against the peaceful workers. He says there was no need to use violence to ask them to return.
Sae’d considered what the soldiers purposefully did was barbaric and that it was similar to previous violent acts including the attack on the worker Majdi Muhammad Ahmed Iqtit in Rabud of the Hebron Governorate on July 17, 2020 by a border guard soldier when he was crossing the wall near the Meitar checkpoint while he was having an authorization to enter the Israeli labour market. Other aggressions include Montaser Al-Fakhoury and his colleague.
Shaher Sae’d added that the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions will add this crime to the list of crimes committed against workers and will be taken to the International Criminal Court (ICC) by the Supreme National Committee to hold every violator of workers' rights accountable for his crimes.
