The General Federation of Workers of Hadhramaut announced that workers in the public sector in the region started a strike on Monday, February 15, 2021, to get their dues and retirement bonuses.
The same source stated that it has been decided that the workers will protest in front of the complex of government departments on Thursday, February 18 and that they expressed their readiness to go further if their demands will not be met.
