The director of the UNESCO office in Morocco had been fired from her post after accusations of employees’ mistreatment.
According to various media sources and to Moroccan employees in the office in Rabat, its director created a hostile atmosphere with the employees with insulting words, which led the international employees in the office to support the Moroccan employees leading ultimately to her dismissal by the central administration of UNESCO.
