The Kuwait National Petroleum Company formed committee to restructure the oil sector. In this regard, the Head of the Petrochemicals Industries Company Workers Union Mohammed Al-Hajri claimed that the company and the Supreme Petroleum Council should have consulted first with the workers' representatives before taking any important decisions that directly affect the workers.
The union’s head insisted his rejection of this decision. He, also, considers that this decision will impact the workers financially which the union will not be tolerating.
Al-Hajri invites the Minister of Oil and the company’s president to cancel this decision that will further the crisis in the country.
