The General Federation of Trade Unions concludes its participation in the Trade Union Academy of the Arab Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) for the year 2020 which aims at enhancing the skills of workers in union work and other labour issues.
The president of the General Federation of Trade Unions, Mazen Ma’atia, called all the unions, their committees, and the unionists to benefit from the educational and training materials provided by the academy and to invest in the content it provides in clarifying the basics of union work, and issues related to workers' problems and their rights.
He said that the e-learning program was launched in 2019. Many organizations and trade unions from various Arab countries participate in the program.
The program is part of the e-learning system provided by ATUC which relies on an online platform that provides educational videos and training materials on union work and the most prominent labour issues.
