The Jordan Hotels Association declared that the pandemic situation led to suspending 144 of 600 tourism establishment since the start of Covid-19 until December 2020.
The association declared firing 2,554 officer due to the establishment’s’ inability to pay them.
The association hopes for governmental policies to work on new economic strategies and save the tourism sector. It suggested creating a risk fund and allowing tax exemptions.
