The Grouping of Regional Coordination Construction Workers are Calling the President of Tunisia to Intervene in Regularizing the Workers’ Situation

The Grouping of Regional Coordination Construction workers asked the President of Tunisia, in a letter, to intervene to regularize the workers’ situation who are aged more than 45 years old and who were not concerned with the agreement signed between the government and the Tunisian General Labour Union.

 

The Grouping of Regional Coordination, in the same letter, suggested a legislative initiative for exceptional provisions concerning recruitment in the public sector to overcome the difficulties caused by Law No. 112 of December 12, 1983 controlling the public law of public officials, local affairs, public institutions of an administrative nature. It, also, declared that a copy of this initiative was submitted at services the presidency on November 19, 2020.

 

Representatives of the grouping asked the president to use his prerogatives to cancel the obligatory aspect of quitting to make it, rather, optional in order to allow people of more than 45 years old to be recruited by the public sector and save 16,000 family from extreme poverty.
