Algeria: Towards the Integration of 100.000 Employees

Shawi also pointed out that the contents of the instruction on pre-employment contracts, which are under the signature of the Prime Minister, stipulate the transfer of vacant positions and their adaptation to the certificates of professional integration workers.

The MP confirmed as well the existence of an accurate census and survey of all vacant financial positions on the national levels, which includes all information on the status of integration and the progress of the integration file settlement.

According to these instructions, it is expected that the employment freeze will be lifted off vacant positions in the sectors previously affected by such freeze, and new compatible positions will be created, especially relating to non-administrative tasks, which would include the creation of 52.000 positions in the education sector.
