The Occupational Health and Safety Secretariat of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Bahrain held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. During this meeting, the Secretariat presented its action plan for the year 2021. The six main points of the action plan are as follows:
1. Increase the number of Committee members and unions.
2. To work for the implementation of the decision number 8 of the year 2013 concerning the organization of safety at work in all the companies in collaboration with the unions.
3. To provide all statistics and data related to occupational health and safety to the General Federation of Trade Unions of Bahrain.
4. To organize various and intensified field visits, events and awareness campaigns.
5. To program quality training for union representatives in the field of occupational health and safety.
6. Increase the number of occupational health and safety committees in the various union structures.
